Provide Converted Statement After Notice?
I am seeking your advice on a situation concerning one of my properties. In January, I issued a termination notice to the current tenant. However, the Cardiff Council is now discussing with us to help the tenant renew their contract with me for another 12 months. As part of this, they are offering me a cash incentive to upgrade the property, which would benefit me and potentially increase the rent to a new rate.
I question whether I should provide a converted written statement to the current tenant, even though I have already given them notice of termination. I would appreciate any guidance you could offer on this matter.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
