The prescribed form RHW27 should be used if the landlord believes a dwelling under an occupation contract has been abandoned. The form gives a four-week warning period.
Prescribed form RHW28 is required after the warning period to end the contract.
There are potentially severe consequences if the contract holder has not abandoned, so this form should be used cautiously.
