Select the agreement type. For a new ordinary private rented tenancy in England from 1 May 2026, select the assured periodic tenancy written statement option. For Wales, use the occupation contract option shown by Tenancy Builder.
Complete the required fields.
On the final page, choose Save and Build.
Click Submit.
When the green Completed box appears in the Tenancies list, click it to download the PDF.
Which Agreement Should I Choose?

No. Profiles save time when you regularly use the same landlord details, deposit scheme, logo, notice wording, or other repeated settings, but you can create your first agreement without one.
Save for Later or Save and Build?
Save for later stores your answers so you can return to the agreement. It does not create the PDF.
Save and Build creates the PDF agreement. Use this when you are ready to download, print, or send the agreement for digital signing.
Download, Print, or Sign
After the PDF has been built, click the green Completed box to download it. You can then print it like any other PDF or use Actions > Digital Signing to send it for electronic signing.
The digital signing option will not appear if the agreement is still marked as a draft, if there are not enough credits, or if the agreement has not yet built successfully.
