Existing Contract and Written Statement

Hi

I have an existing assured shorthold tenancy contract from 1st October 2021 until 2nd October 2023. 

I'm not sure what best to do to comply with the new legislation, and I won't renew the contract after the expiry date as I want to give my tenant notice to vacate. Do I need to issue a conversion statement or a new contract, please?

I would be grateful for any advice.
