If you are letting a room in your own home where you live, use this agreement for letting to a lodger. A lodger who shares accommodation with you is an excluded occupier under section 3A of the Protection from Eviction Act 1977, and this is a licence agreement, not a tenancy.
This agreement must only be used where you live in the same property as the lodger. It is not suitable for any other type of letting or occupation arrangement.
