When Does Guarantee End? / Giving Notice

Having a guarantor for a tenancy which is often a family member, is one of the best things to do when letting property as a landlord. However, when a tenancy, including an assured shorthold tenancy, goes into periodic, it is possible in cases for a guarantor to give notice. This article explains the position that the guarantor should give adequate notice, and we attempt to define "adequate".
